Pharmaceutical grade fish oil – Why it is not necessary
Exactly what is the oil pharmaceutical grade fish and need? Surprisingly The answer is no, but that does not mean you should not fish oil supplements. Just pay attention to some of the label information.
What does "pharmaceutical Fish oil "refers mean? On products that are highly refined (" ultra fine ") to remove impurities and contaminants.
Now Pollutants are the cause of major concern in fatty fish, like most of the waters where species such as salmon, mackerel and tuna are probably trapped with mercury, PCBs and dioxins may be contaminated.
These impurities are very bad for your health and cause developmental problems in children, cancer, fertility problems and malformations.
So naturally you want a product that eliminates these substances.
Unfortunately, the quality of pharmaceutical fish oil is essentially a meaningless term. It is a standard recognized around the world to define what it means. The United States Pharmacopoeia to regulate more. The American Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) voluntary monograph is in multiple international standards, but not all manufacturers have in mind.
Even the U.S. FDA, which, like some of the rather low purity requirements, makes no requirement that dietary supplementation with omega meet all pharmaceutical standards.
